We tried to teach the question form “Do you ~” in class.
First, we did a review of self introduction. In this review, I want students to remember the self introduction form and usage of simple verb.(I like ~ I play ~)
The reason why I perfoemd “Mr. Obama” is to attract the interest of student.
But, this thought wasn’t successful. Maybe students couldn’t understand what thay do.]
I want them to guess the content of Obama’s speech.
Next, We taught the way of using “Do you~”. At first ,we demonstrate some interview conversation. That was exsample how to use “Do you~” form and to answer the question.
I think, We did this explanation too much, It was boring. But I couldn’t know easy & fun way to teach the content.
In last, we tried sutudent to practice “Do you~” form. We called on student, but almost all students have no opportunity to answer our question. That is bad.

We reviewed the last class “self-introduction” at first in the class.
We used “Obama” to be able to understand other’s self-introduction.I think we should have confirmed this contents.
Next,we did “conversation”.We wanted students to answered “They did interview(Q&A)”.But,they didn’t.We needed many explanation.
lastly,we wanted students to asked to obama. But,they didn’t. We needed more explanation, too.

Bison and Anthony,
I liked your “Obama” idea, it was funny. However, I thought that maybe your lesson needed more examples and had a little too much explanation. I think that you showed form and meaning but somehow “use” was not clear. For example, “Do you ~ ” questions can be used to interview Obama. I think that this was your intention but for some reason, your intention was not clear. Lastly, next time you should try to involve as much students as possible in your practice and avoid calling on individual students too much.

“Obama” idea was very good,Because you attracted interest of students. Obama’s introduction and questions to him, these sentence was simple and plain. But, I thought it was easy to hear for students, if you talked more louder and clear.
Surely,There may have been the part of explanation was long.
Then, I think it is good that teachers ask students a question between explanation diligently.

Thank you for your good class!
It was good approach impersonating Obama. But I wanted you to make use of “Obama” more in your class (ex. Can we (you) ~?/ Yes, we can. ) .
You see, I think you should make opportunity to speak every students.

Thank you for your hard work ☆
I enjoyed Obama’s visit.
I couldn’t make “Do you~” sentence, because I had not understand which verb I can use in the sanence.
I wanted you to show some choices or examples.
For example, Let’s try to make “Do you like ~” sentence.
Next, let’s try “Do you know ~” sentence.

Thank you for yor teaching. I enjoyed and learned grammer.
At first, I was surprised Obama’s mask. And asking question to Obama was fun. Moreover, I could hear teacher’s explanation easily.
However ,in class, I said only “Do you like~”. So I wanted you to say another verb’s sentence. For example “Do you play~” or “Do you have~”.
Thank you.

I think it was a good idea that you used a picture of Obama. By using it, you could absorb the attention of the students.
I also thought it was hard to consider how we could have students participate in class’s activities voluntarily. But we have to do that. So, let’s think about it together from now on.
Thank you for your class!

Thank you for your class!
I think Obama was very good idea, too.Student may be atracted to the class.
I thought we needed more practice. The more the students practice, the more they feel confident. And the expranation was a little long.

初めは、どうしてオバマを使ったかあまり分かりませんでした。でも面白かったです。
また、初めは何を教えていたか少し分かりにくかったです。だから、最初からはっきり説明してください。簡単に説明してください。

It was very fun to ask questions to Obama.
I understood how to use “Do you like …?” but I think that it is better to teach more patterns, for example,”Do you
have …?” or “Do you know…?”. It is important for the students to more active in the class, so we should make the opportunity to practice to the students, I think.
Thank you for your teaching!

Thank you for your class.
Using a famous person for a class was good idea because this idea caught students’ attention.
Your explanation was a little bit long , so you should explain more simple and give students a chance to practice the lesson topic.
Good job!!!

Thank you for your interested class!
When Obama came in,I was very surprised and attracted.Introduction’s impact is very important.
I thought students’ opportunities to speak were a little, because we wanted to join the class.
And your explanation was a little difficult, so I wanted you to demonstrate more!!
Your class was good to use English and Japanese equally.

I think it is a little difficult to teach the grammar of “Do you~?”"Yes, I do./No, I don’t.” But it has a lot of possibility that we can do the action! Teachers had better make the students act in a lot of situation, I think.

Thank you for your class!! I enjoyed it. It was good idea to appear Mr. Obama. Students like popular people.
And, asking Mr. Obama some questions is good practice because students can make original sentences.
